This customer asked us to create a garden that would encourage them to use it more often. They wanted us to create a modern garden with planting that would require minimum maintenance but give all-year round interest.

The brief for the garden design was to create a family garden with a contemporary feel incorporating areas for entertaining, growing veg, their children and planting that would attract bees and butterflies. We constructed a raised patio flush to the interior or the house with planters built in with blocks of Equisetum as a feature, a veg. area with greenhouse and a decked kids area with sunken sandpit and climbing wall with safety cushioned flooring.

The brief for this garden was to create a contemporary, low maintenance space for entertaining and relaxing. Included in the design was a built-in barbecue, water-feature, pergola for a hammock and lush evergreen planting to ensure that the look of the garden remained consistent all year round.

In this garden we designed and constructed a large hardwood deck which leads to a sunken patio we finished in natural sandstone paving and created a planting plan for the customer.

Having recently moved into a newly built house this customer came to us with a completely blank canvas. We designed and created a garden with a soft, flowing feel with curved paths through lush, planted beds leading you around the garden and to the patio for afternoon sunshine.

This young family had a completely overgrown garden that was almost 1 metre lower than the house. To create an easy transition from house to garden we designed and built a raised deck with planter and gate to keep their young child safe with one step down to the lawn area with sleeper beds for planting.
